T IS FOR TRESPASS ----SUE GRAFTON

Kinsey Millhone --what a girl--I would love to have a friend like her. There is never a dull moment in her life.
So far SUE GRAFTON has written books from A-T. Kinsey Millhone is the main character in all of these books. It seems that every book just gets better. In T is for Trespass Kinsey once again gets herself in a lot of trouble. She is trying to help her neighbor ( a man in his 80's) who has fallen and now needs someone to care for him at home. The person hired for this position is not who they think she is so it is up to Kinsey to get rid of her. Kinsey has so many things going on at one time but still has her best friend, who is also her 89 year old landlord by the name of Henry to help her out in times of stress.
I love these books and can't wait for the next one which will be "U". If you haven't read them then you missing out on some of the best reading there is.

HOUSES OF STONE-----BARBARA MICHAELS

Karen Holloway is a young professor of English. When she happens upon a privately printed volume of verse dating from the early nineteenth century, it's all in a day's work. But now she has turned up a battered manuscript bearing the same mysterious attribution, "Ismene", turns up. Karen realizes this could be the most important manuscript she has ever seen.
Karen totally immerses herself in the search for the true identity of the unknown author. She is not working alone in her quest for she has the help of her eccentric mentor, Peggy, whose historical expertise proves to be invaluable.
Being in possession of this manuscript may jeopardize Karen's life.
This is a very suspenseful novel, well written.

LOVERS AND PLAYERS-----JACKIE COLLINS

THIS IS JACKIE COLLINS AT HER VERY BEST.
Ms. Collins has a talent like no other author I know of. She holds you right from the first page of her novels.
In LOVERS AND PLAYERS she is at her best.
This is a story about the Diamond family. There are three brothers that have never been close and a very dominating father who has been controlling their lives for as long as they can remember.
Diahann, Red Diamond's house keeper, has a beautiful biracial daughter by the name of Liberty that works as a waitress who is a would be singer does not approve of her mother working as a housekeeper.
As the lives of these characters come together there is so much mystery and action it is really hard to put the book down.
